New Jersey Respiratory Therapist CE Requirements
Respiratory therapists in New Jersey must complete 30 continuing education credits every two years.

Total CE credits: 30 credits every two years
Mandatory topics:
At least 1 credit in infection control
At least 1 credit in patient safety/medical errors
At least 1 credit in ethics
At least 20 credits in other respiratory care clinical practices
Remaining credits: Any remaining credits can be earned in any healthcare-related field.
